Lloyd’s the world’s specialist insurance market

Sue Langley

Sue Langley

Sue joined Lloyd's in July 2007 and is Director of Market Development. She is responsible for change projects within the market as well as relationship management and development. Previously, Sue was Chief Operating Officer for the Hiscox Group.

She is a member of the London Market Group, a group of senior executives representing the market. Sue also chaired the G6 – a group of six Lloyd's managing agents formed to lead opportunities to modernise the Lloyd’s market. Sue was appointed as a Non-Executive Director for Northern Rock Asset Management and Bradford and Bingley in January 2010.

Prior to joining Hiscox, she was a Principal Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers and worked with a range of FTSE 100 companies.

Sue is a Director of Acord and is a Vice President of the Insurance Institute London (IIL). In 2009 she received the IIL President's Award in recognition of her contribution to the Institute. She was also awarded the 2009 Women in the City Achievement Award. Sue has a degree in geography (Bsc Hons) from Southampton University.
